Legal Wedding Ceremonies:

Ontario

Ministers of the Church of the Movement of Spiritual Inner Awareness Canada, Inc. who serve as pastors of local communities in the Province of Ontario, and have applied for and been issued a licence in the Province of Ontario, can perform legal wedding ceremonies in accord with the Marriage Act of Ontario, and in the Province of Ontario.

Ministers of the Church of the Movement of Spiritual Inner Awareness Canada, Inc. who serve as pastors of local communities in the Province of British Columbia, and have applied for and been issued a licence in the Province of British Columbia, can perform legal wedding ceremonies in accord with the Marriage Act of B.C. in the Province of British Columbia.

Alberta and the Northwest Territories

Ministers of the Church of the Movement of Spiritual Inner Awareness Canada, Inc. can perform a spiritual marriage ceremony. For the name of an MSIA Minister in Alberta or the Northwest Territory willing to perform a spiritual ceremony, contact the MSIA Canada National Office by e-mail: msia@rogers.com, or by telephone: 613-841-1458.

Spiritual Wedding Ceremonies:

Most Ministers of the Church of the Movement of Spiritual Inner Awareness Canada, Inc. will perform spiritual wedding ceremonies, including establishing or renewing spiritual commitments of two partners, thus if a couple wishes to have a spiritual ceremony either before, after, or instead of a civil ceremony in British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, Western Quebec, or the Montreal Area, they should contact a Minister near them. Names can be found in the Seminars page for seminar leaders, or the couple can contact the National Office at msia@rogers.com. In the case of Quebec, procedures are available to have an MSIA Minister serve as the wedding officiant.
